Mission Statement

Chartered
in 1961, the Blair County Builders Association is a non-profit
trade organization affiliated with the National
Association of Home Builders and a network of local associations
known as PBA,
and is governed by a board of directors consisting of representatives
from its general membership. The association represents all
facets of the building and shelter industry by assisting local
members in directly serving the community. Member firms are
diverse in size, activities and locale, and include developers,
remodelers, apartment owners, residential and commercial builders,
as well as subcontractors, suppliers and professionals related
to the industry. Through its efforts, BCBA seeks to ensure
consumers have access to quality products and services of
optimum value, provided by reputable business men and women.
This is accomplished through services and activities in the
following areas: Government Relations Training and Education
Public Awareness Customer Relations Research and Development
Insurance Fiscal Stability
